- Conduct conflicts checks and take steps requested before entering into an attorney-client relationship;
- Provide legal services after an attorney-client relationship has been established;

3. Attorney-Client Relationship and Confidentiality
Submitting a contact form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, or otherwise contacting Bolos Consumer Law does not create an attorney-client relationship.
An attorney-client relationship is formed only after we have determined that no conflict of interest prevents the representation, we have expressly agreed to represent you, and any required engagement agreement has been completed.
Do not submit confidential or time-sensitive information through the Website unless and until an attorney-client relationship has been established. Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship exists may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege.
Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee that we will accept or respond to your matter. Do not delay taking action or allow a legal deadline to expire while waiting for a response.
4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
The Website may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for essential Website functions, security, analytics, advertising measurement, and—where permitted—interest-based or targeted advertising.
We may use the following services:
Google Analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors find and use the Website. Google Analytics may collect information such as cookie identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, pages viewed, and interactions with the Website.
You can learn more about Google’s data practices at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Google also provides a Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Google Tag Manager
We may use Google Tag Manager to manage analytics, advertising, and other Website tags. Google Tag Manager may facilitate the operation of other technologies described in this Privacy Policy.
Google Ads
We may use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing technologies to measure whether advertisements lead to visits or inquiries and to display relevant advertisements on other websites or services.
You can manage how Google personalizes advertisements through Google’s My Ad Center.
Meta Pixel and Meta Ads
We may use the Meta Pixel and related Meta advertising tools to measure advertisement performance, understand Website activity, and—where permitted—display relevant advertisements through Facebook, Instagram, or other Meta services.
Meta may receive cookie identifiers, device and browser information, Website activity, and information about interactions with advertisements. We do not transmit the contents of contact-form submissions to Meta.
You can learn more through Meta’s Privacy Policy and manage advertising preferences through your Facebook or Instagram settings.
Cookie Preferences
When nonessential analytics or advertising technologies are enabled, the Website will provide a cookie-preference or privacy-choice tool through which you can accept or reject applicable categories of cookies.
You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect certain Website functions. Your choices are generally specific to the browser and device you use, so you may need to repeat them if you use another browser or device or clear your cookies.
Where required by applicable law and supported by our Website’s consent technology, we will process legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell personal information.
We do not disclose contact-form information to unrelated third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. In particular, we do not upload contact-form information to Google or Meta for customer matching, audience creation, or advertising personalization.
We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:
Service Providers
We may provide information to vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as:
- Kinsta, which provides Website hosting and related infrastructure;
- WordPress and Gravity Forms, which support the Website and its contact forms;
- Microsoft Outlook or related Microsoft services, which may receive and store contact-form communications;
- Spam-prevention and security providers, which may include Google reCAPTCHA;
- Cookie-consent and privacy-choice providers;
- Website maintenance and technical-support providers;
- Data analytics providers; and
- Advertising and campaign-measurement providers.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services, comply with applicable law, and protect their systems and legal rights.
Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a law, regulation, court order, subpoena, or other legal process;
- Fulfill applicable professional or ethical obligations;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Bolos Consumer Law, our clients, Website visitors, or others;
- Investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity; or
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Changes
Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable legal and professional obligations.
With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide your consent.
Some privacy laws define disclosures involving advertising cookies or identifiers as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for “targeted advertising,” even when no money is exchanged. Where such laws apply, you may use our cookie-preference or privacy-choice tool to opt out.
6. Contact-Form Processing
Contact forms are operated through WordPress and Gravity Forms and are hosted through Kinsta. A submission may be stored in the Website’s database and delivered to us through email, which may be provided through Microsoft Outlook or related Microsoft services.
Spam-prevention technology may analyze technical information, including an IP address, browser or device information, and characteristics of a submission, to determine whether it appears to be legitimate.
Because communications over the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, you should not submit highly sensitive information through the contact form.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
The applicable retention period may depend on:
- Whether we are evaluating or handling a legal matter;
- Whether an attorney-client relationship is established;
- Our legal, ethical, and professional obligations;
- The need to maintain conflicts-checking or business records;
- Security, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution considerations; and
- Applicable limitation periods and recordkeeping requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or securely retain it until deletion is practicable. Information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic-storage system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee the absolute security of information submitted through or stored in connection with the Website.
9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Request confirmation of whether we process your personal information;
- Request access to personal information we maintain about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
- Request deletion of personal information;
- Obtain a portable copy of certain personal information;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information;
- Opt out of processing for targeted advertising;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Appeal the denial of a privacy request, where applicable; and
- Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
You may exercise an applicable privacy right by contacting us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request when permitted or required by law, including when information must be retained to satisfy legal, ethical, professional, security, conflicts-checking, or recordkeeping obligations.
You may also use the Website’s cookie-preference or privacy-choice tool to manage analytics and advertising technologies.
We do not knowingly discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable privacy right.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Website and our legal services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the Website.
If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
11. Third-Party Websites
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations.
